Fear prevents ideas from being realized

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Thanh, CEO of AVSE Corp said that any great innovation has been an idea, it is important to embark on it.

Before becoming named figures in human history, any of them were ordinary people. I don’t know if they have any hesitation in revealing their ideas to people. But I firmly believe that at present, there are a lot of young people who are holding both ideas and ideals on paper, but still not confident enough to express.

People often think their ideas are futuristic.

The idea at first must definitely “seem fanciful, fanciful” because otherwise, it cannot be an idea but it will be something others already know. The invention of creating the airplane was thought to be just a toy and had no real effect by Ferdinand Foch, a general and allied commander of France in World War I. Before the advent of incandescent light bulbs, people also did not believe that there would be something that could glow, except fire. Do you think your idea is impractical, so you dare not go public? If it is not fanciful, then it is definitely not the idea.

Think that the idea is too small.

The expectation of great things by others can sometimes make us think that the little things we own will disappoint them. Without those little ideas, any great mission would not be possible.

To have a flourishing field and a good harvest, we must accept to sow every grain of rice. No idea is perfect and macro enough that it alone can change the world. Your little idea won’t change a whole lot, but it certainly will. The same goes for other people’s ideas. So, please rest assured and confident with your little ideas.

Your ideas deserve to be known.

Inside each of us, there is always “a child screaming for escape”. That kid has crazy ideas that can make a difference in the world. But your adult being, with your worries, plans and fears, decides to keep that child forever. These ideas will probably just stay in your memory, notebook or a note on the computer. We are taught to grow up, reduce paranoia, and settle in life. But no one tells us that, when you were young, still strong, still passionate and reckless enough to be “crazy”, open the other door, let the “child” inside you go wild.

While it’s a bad idea, it doesn’t mean the process of implementing it isn’t fun. If you are worried about failure, the startup should not think about the results but start implementing the idea and enjoy the process of turning dreams into reality. Whether or not you’ve been recognized afterward, you’ve had a happy time, at least you have tried it.
